Day-2 JAPAN

Ok today we went to the kings palace in Tokyo. Well it was a let down because the place was close for visitors..haiz..the toru guide says that it only opens twice a year."Lucky me". Anyway it was nice at the outside..there was a garden filled with few 100 year old bonzais and the weather was bloody nice. Just like air-con.
After that, we adjourn to a temple. It wasnt that wow..just red and with simple architecture structure. China temple was better. But the good side was they were having a wedding there, the bride and groom were dress in traditional japanese cloths. So nice and intriguing. "Not yet see b4 mah". Anyway we move on to another temple..well this one was wow. It was located in the heart of japan..and u have to go through these japanese cute stalls jam pack with ppl. But it was nice lah but dad have to ruin it by rushing us to the temple dulu then only turn around and see the shops. Oh well took a quick glance at the stores and arrive at the entrance with a hugh lantern hung there.
I love it and we went in, kinda simple. So again dad walk quick quick and went to their seperate shrines. Well we went to a really old wan and saw ppl praying. I love this temple bcuz u need to go through the temple gate and then only arrive. Everything was build in stone..so authentic and got more ancient value. Oh when u arrive must clap ur hand twice in praying style then only can make wish, symbolising arrival. Oh need to wash ur hands and mouth too b4 going in, just like muslim.
Then again usher us away bcuz dad scared no time wor and go to shopping at the stalls. I saw ppl grilling food but no worth it, waste time only. When i walk through it saw many stylish ppl as usual. Went to buy mochi and ate in front of them. But it was bloody delicious then the seller say "oishi des" means delicious? i understood and said hai or yes. But my mom say "hou sek". I was saying what the hell, i was like kinda malu and the seller was like giving mom the-i-dont-understand-look. Haiz mom will always be mom. Anyway went on walking through stalls and saw a lot of japanese stuff and saw those clogs i wanted but cant buy cuz no time liao.
Ok now we move on to super hyper shopping mode, cuz after this day we keep going shopping only in tokyo. Everything in tokyo is buy buy buy, cuz if u dont dress well ppl look down on u then u feel inferior then u will be left out then accumulated stress will lead to death" its a simple process". Here are the things that will make u poor in japan 1st. red cheek cuz red cheek means no money to whiten urself or put make up so poor. 2nd dress simple or use unbranded stuff. 3rd dye hair they hate black!! simple rules. Anyway i will continue in my culture shock experience by saying japanese gurls have high-maintanance. Well first they shop like hell as if Louis Vuitton is cheap and Versace is normal everyday attire.
I aint making this up husbands salary must be all given to the wife to manage. Good for gurls bad for guys. Besides, the mife need to create account book for monthly checking by the husband include with seal for prove. Sad case. Anyway its a shopping haven with UNaffordable prices. Just go for window shopping. But when we arrive at GINZA the most up market place in japan. Well different story, ppl there dress in suite and those old mother even go shopping. They aint like our local ah-poh were they will ask for affordable prices. Its a no no in Japan the old ppl here shop like mad and they formal. So we stand out like black ink in white paper. Futher more, all the ppl were holding bag and bags of stuff.
So dad quickly went into their super market and shop for food. Price still expensive but delicious and in cool packaging. Then went up to bus and head for hotel and end for 2 days blog. ~aNGLES roCKs~
