Woah, its been a long time since i blog. Are my readers still reading this!! Sorry ya. Ok today i went to Shangri-la hotel to eat buffet. At first my parents and sis says it aint high-class at all but when i reach there it was super duper nice. Its like every single decoration please the eyes in every way u look. It was very posh and shikh. I love the place but i doubt i will be visiting the place any time soon for eating. Well first of all my dad when there because he has this discound card so its worth while going there.
Ok, so i walked in the buffet area that is called "Lemon grass cafe" we were greeted by a french accented masaleh with fabulous marketing skills. I gave him an A+++++++ for his service. He catter to every customer needs and with dam polite gesture and speach. I think he was train for this. Secondly, he aint a racist because he treat every customer the same regardless of skin colour. Not like some masaleh jerk that give u that U-aint-class-enough-for-this look.
But before i went in we arrived there early. So we went to the garden for a walk and the lanscaping of the place was ingenious. The place was filled with lush greeneries as if it was growing there for centuries. Ok all these crap i'll explain later. I continue at the second paragraph. So we went in and was greeted with astonishing well not really that nice but nice decoration. The best part was when i went to servey the food. I took a cursory look at the dishes and was surprise that it was well decorated. Every dish was not fully filled but few slices at one plate. Not like some places where each plate was filled to the brim just to cater for the Malaysian epitied. There those ppl that cant wait for it to refill and want to hastily gobble everything down.
Well not Shangri-la, there were tons of masaleh with good maners and dont eat like pigs. So i was extra careful with my maners. But as Tang family we eat a lot i mean hugh quantities. Yes my dad says we ate 2 hours non stop of food filled plate. I cant believe it. I just did that withouth noticing but what to do the food was excellent. But we ate according to proper maners not like "spirited away" pigs.
The main course best food was in my opinion the lamb and beef because it was so tender that i need the slightest strength to cut through it.The best dessert was the apple crumble. Well those who are not familiar is actually a cake that is serve hot with real apple with soft moist chocolate base and crispy in the out side, and pour on with warm sweet caramel sauce. Dam nice it was just right not too sweet and not too sour. The fun part was the chocolate fountain located in the dessert section. Ok the ppl there was high class, well mannered and even children was not the sreaming wacko children that runs around banging everything. Then my mom said there was a man sitting at the next table that only eat vegetables. Yes he was literally eating sayur-sayuran. plates after plates of it.My dad said "wah if u want to eat until 400++ u better start using plastic bags to da pou" He got a whole zuchinee<-- dunno how to spell on his hand and their the hand was eating salad. Then when we were almost going he ate sushi. My dad comented "haiz must be health freak" But in my opinion what is living if u dont enjoy food.
Me and my sis were playing a fool by skewing strawberry and pour on with chocolate. It was delicious. When u bite u will taste sweetness and then sour, it blends perfectly well. Unfortunatly, when we ate that we were very full,so we ate ice-cream instead. Then it was time to leave and in my experience that was the best buffet i ever had. Everything was satisfactory guaranteed, but the price was a different story. Because it cost 400++ but with the discount it cost 300++, ok for a 5 person meal with fantastic experience with the food and got beautiful gurl. I dunno why but there were beautiful gurls, usually rich ppl have fat children...lolz.
Then i cant even move so have to bend a bit to walk lolz. We then took a tour of Shangri-la. Well u must know that in the out side the hotel looks really run down with old design and mosaic tiles that has moss and black stuff on it. But when u go in it was nice with up to date designs. The chinese restaurant was more amazing..i cant describe it but i'll post pics. The blog is long aint it. Ok then we went home and end of story.lolz. blog some other day and enjoy the pics. byez. ~Angles ROcks
